Just read it on the BBC Sport page http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport Not surprised by this tbh. I never thought Tevez had refused to play. Funny how Paul Scholes came to his defence and exposed himself that he refused to play in Uniteds league game against Liverpool in 2001 when he started from the subs bench. Tut tut tut not even Tevez would do that.
It depends how you see it, to be honest. Tevez's post match interview seems to contradict what he's said since, assuming it was translated correctly of course. When you refuse to warm up you're disobeying the manager, he must've known that Mancini was trying to bring him on, yet he didn't attempt to explain himself at the time at all. I don't think anyone's suggested City lied either, only Mancini according to the article.
His fine has been reduced to two weeks which I'm pleased about, I mean how would he have coped not earning a living for 4 weeks, he's only earned £4m since pre-season....
I think we should sign him in the summer. Seriously, he would do amazing if Wenger can control him (which I believe he can)
He's a fantastic player but the ability is kind of offset by the attitude. How many times has he said he hates Manchester and wants to go back home ? And City keep dumping more money in his bank account and the world's OK again. He doesn't know what he wants, whatever he does he'll be unhappy with life, there are plenty of people like him in the world and unfortunately the team who invest a kings ransom in his services will end up suffering.
