no I wont...I do a similar one anyway every 2-3 games..........but would suggest the minimum points needed is likely to be over 50, possibly as high as 54. This is due to the fact that the teams involved in the bottom 6-8 do not play each other as much as they did last year...so each team is "playing for more points " .................... "playing for more points "....for those that cant work this out, it is awkward to explain but....City play Ipswich so both teams playing for the same points = 3 City play Watford so 3 points this is a gain against the other 5-7 teams at the bottom, if losing the points dont go to the other 5-7 teams! whereas on the same day if Ipswich played Barnsley they play for the same 3 points only one of them can get 3 and the other goes loser...last season there was at least 2 to 4 games each week involving the bottom 8
As long as nothing stupid happens like the last time we got back to back wins at home but I rather think S O'D will keep everyones concentration levels and preparation as high as he can.
4 games in and we have got 6 points out of 12, that's 50% success so far,16 games to go,we are on track for 52 point's and safety, anrn't statistics a wonderful thing..... I see Forest and Barnsley as the next 6/12. I would be very happy with that outcome. Can't see us doing the double over the other two. (though we did over Swansea, the year they went up of course).
Another win,9 points gained with 3 wins out of 5, position still 23rd and only 17 points needed to make the 48 point minimum...SOD doing miracles and it looks as though we need a minimum of 50 points, it's getting tough.... At least more clubs are being dragged down into the mire and the momentum atm is with all 3 of the clubs at the bottom and those teams just above the drop zone are starting to brick it, It could be that Posh, Barnsley and ourselves could all survive if we keep winning we WILL drag those other teams into the brown stuff and leave them there
