The first goalkeeper I ever saw in a City shirt was Mike Gibson back in 1969.

The latest keeper is Max O'Leary, but how many more can you recall in those other 56 years ?

I'll start with Keith Waugh - name any other keepers one at a time if possible and let's see how many we can get

Cook and Anderson were before my time

these 2 were the first 2 I remember, I seem to remember they swapped around a bit? before Cook took over before the G's arrived GARLAND GALLEY GOW GIBSON GORDON L GORDON P GERRY S

Shaw /Cashley /Welch and Waugh
DIDNT GO MUCH IN 90's or early 000's James saw a few times and Heaton a couple

Mike (Jock) Mahoney
Jan Moller

dont really ring a bell these 2 although names ring a bell Moller?? was he a goalie?

I seem to remember Jan Moller catching a cross one handed. Is that a false memory?
Not sure myself but I remember Pat Jennings doing that
I remember when he (Moller) was signed he was offered a Rolls Royce by Bob Houghton if he kept clean sheets until the end of the season
From memory it lasted about 10 minutes into his first game when Julian Marshall put through his own net at the open end !

Yes Moller was a keeper in the old second division after we were relegated
I believe we signed him from Malmo and at the time he was Sweden’s number 1

We had Mike (Jock) Mahoney from Newcastle in the early 70s around the same time as Ernie Hunt
Like Hunt, I think he was a short term loan and only made a couple of appearances

And the thread is all about City goalkeepers past and present <cheers>
