  2. Take the money!

    I've liked Guti recently, but we could use that 10 million to buy a quality striker, which is what we need. If Ben Arfa and Ireland show they can offer deliveries and creativity, which i believe they can, then we shouldn't turn down this offer.

    <laugh>

    10 million, I'd snap that, or maybe straight swap deal with Johnson.

    But I bet it's those lazy Sunday papers again <doh>

    I'll obviously take the money! I'll prefer a straight swap with Adam Johnson though..

    I don't believe this(100%). This is the same paper that claims AC Milan have won the ''race'' to sign Jose Enrique in the summer, so I wouldn't take much notice.

    But knowing City, more money than actual sense and let's remember this is a club that paid a reported 25m for Lescott!!!!

    This is shoddy paper talk of the highest order. Guti's performances blow hot and cold and he's not worth 10 mil. even if it is peanuts to city. Plus would he want to go to them? He'd end up a bench warmer and lose his first team place to some over-payed foreigner who Mancini spent 200 million on and therefore feels hes got to play him even though he's ****e to justify spending so much. PLUS GUTI DOESN'T WAVE and that will undoubtedly make City's already fractured team spirit even worse.

    However, if it is true, snap their bloody had off! I wouldn't even care if he didn't wave goodbye...

    I'd take all the figures that have been muted for him recently. £7m-£10m. Although he is an integral part of our teams intensity, I still feel we could sign someone better for the money we'd get for him!

    The thing with letting Guti go is that it would upset Jose and Colo, and we don't want to lose those two.
