I am sure most City fans will join us and be disgusted with this but I know there will be City fans delighted with this too which saddens me. https://vine.co/v/hJAUHDdAxXX
Taken from a comment on the OS forum that apparently was said by a Sky Sports pundit: "Bristol City were the better team, Bristol Rovers were the better club".
Is that supposed to be a video CJS? If so, I can't make it work. If Ellis truly was spat on, then that fat **** should be nicked. Disgraceful. Having said that, it's clear that his behaviour is in no way representative of your average 82er Ted on Not606. Generally, they're much worse
"It was obvious where the trouble was going to come from when the fat lumps were trying to climb over the barriers to abuse Ellis and were queuing up to get on the pitch. Yet where were the stewards?" http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/111280-dolman-stand/ i saw this myself (not the spitting incident) and said about this on another thread. a lot of these people were really abusing our players right in their faces. one of these twats then spits at harrison which i got from this thread on the OS forum http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/111291-hope-this-lad-gets-reported/
The Sky cameras showed the morons gathering along the touchline on the other side of the pitch shouting their abuse at the Rovers players taking throw ins. Close ups of those fans showed prats who would seem to have drunk more booze than they could handle. The stewards lined up to create a barrier, but where were the police? Why didn't they get in there and sort it out?? At Wembley I have seen the police dig the nuisance piss-artists out and chuck them out of the stadium. Having said that the players must be complimented on keeping the game attractive and fair. Only one really bad tackle all night and the ref handled that well with a ticking off and no early bath. I suppose there will be a fine for the pitch invasion, which was a shame. The majority of those seemed to be youngsters who were overexcited and wished to congratulate the players. Sky seemed to deliberately avoid showing any trouble after the match, so I can't comment on that.
I hope McGas and who ever else was there backs this up. But the police unfortunately was contained in the Rovers end holding some back with riot shields where they were trying to get at the City fans. I had a good view of it from where I sat. Spitting at players or anyone is not pleasant, but lets keep things in perspective is spitting at players or racial abuse on twitter worse. No they are both disgusting, both sets of fans were the same it's just TV cameras showed only one side. But don't worry, the fans who wanted to get at each other will all be in work together today having a laugh.
I hope police do their job and track these twats down that the tv has shown and track down the twats that ROD is reporting about. Where both sets of fans have twats, I fear both new stadiums will be targets of arson!
Spitting at someone is ****ing disgusting ROD. If anyone spat at me I would ****ing knock em out, simple. I had another city mate telling me during the game that **** was going on with gas fans. I didn't know what he was talking about obviously, but I always knew this would happen. It is just the way of the derby
In the second half our players were continually getting abused and harassed at throw-ins; Smith in particular in front of the Williams. I saw Harrison getting grief, but I can't honestly say whether he was spat on or not. To our players' credit I did not see them respond to the provocation.
Well that was an eventful evening. I'll refrain from talking about off the pitch matters for the time being cos I'm too busy at work. Funny thing is the pictures of the ****ers at the bottom of the Dolman spitting and dishing out the abuse have been doing the rounds on social media sites all night and all day today. Those brain dead morons would do well to keep a very low profile for a length of time. Apparently the fat **** in the check shirt and the fat **** in the pink polo top are still trying to get over the hoardings to invade the pitch.
I was told by someone at work that apparently a few City fans were shouting we hate blacks to Harrison not sure where he heard from this from but wouldn't be surprised from the mob on the dolman stand
Laugh away Lan, but if you are a spitter at football games, id ensure you didn't flem in my direction if I were you. I find it revolting to say the least
