Do you really want to get in a bidding war with us? Andrew Neville has already proven he can be a moron with Top's cheque book. Luckily Nigel is here to rein him in

I would be prepared to double the offer if it was needed

After blowing nearly 3M on a crap striker I doubt the Hull owners trust fat head to spend more then 50P on a player from now on

Bruce has a horrendous past in the transfer market

If it meant Leicester had to pay an extortionate amount of money for him because we pushed it up there, then yeah.
Hopefully, we can offload McLean and have some extra wonga to spend on players like Wood. Ehab and Assem have guaranteed full financial backing in January meaning what Steve Bruce wants, they'll fund (within reason). So, they're backing, the extra money received from some (hopefully leaving) players such as McLean and Olofinjana, a bidding war against money bags Leicester doesn't look such a hard task.

I don't like Proschwitz really, though he still has only started one game due to Aluko and Simpson's recent form. He hasn't had a chance, but I'm doubting his ability. He's 6"3 and can't win a header. He's always with his back to goal and seems more of a goal poacher than an aerial threat, which we really would have been better off with.

    Aluko and Simpson's recent form?

Aluko is injured and Simpson hasnt scored since god knows when.

Whatever way you wrap it up Prossie is crap

And you do realise bidding wars dont work like that.

If you read the post properly, I did say I don't rate Proschwitz, but that's because I've only seen him come off the bench really with 10 minutes maximum to make an impact so nobody can really judge him by saying he's either good/crap because we haven't seen enough of him.

Simpson has been great in regards to work ethic, creating chances and has scored 6, assisted 6 (I think it's 6 assists) so therefore being involved in 12 goals is pretty handy. Aluko is this League's hidden gem, some of the stuff he does is brilliant. People can rave about Zaha, but Aluko made Zaha look a knob back at the KC. He's scored 8 and asssted something like 4, so that's 24 goals created/scored by Aluko and Simpson together.

You're going to try and tell me that they're not in form?

TBH, I looked at his goal:game ratio for his previous Clubs, and for his age, he looked pretty prolific, but since as in no City fan has actually seen him play live, we can only base our expectations on his previous records. Sometimes you have to gamble on a player like that because it could be the difference between going up or staying down. Unfortunately, it hasn't really worked out with Ze German yet, but there's still time.

Hilarious, you're gonna snap up Woods from under Millwalls nose.

Tell ya what the icing on the cake would be.

There has been a big vote off on the Millwall board.

    See below for details.

I think if you get Chris Wood, you'll get the last Automatic place and I think if we get Chris Wood, then we will get the last Automatic place.

I wish we were looking at Wood, but I suspect we're not. Bidding wars in January always inflate the price of a player and it seems that you lot, Millwall and the Udders are all chasing him, so we'll let you lot try and outbid each other.

Our preferred target is Fraizer Campbell, but it seems that he's not all that keen on dropping to the Championship. Whatever happens, we will have a new striker in January.

And for the record, our owners are ecstatic with the transfer business Bruce has done, as are we.

Nigel is after 2 strikers according to the BBC. Weather that means he wants to sign 2 or has his eye on 2

In Jan we should try and shift Danns, Gallagher, Wellens and Beckford

Sign a striker (Wood would be ideal) A midfielder and a centre half

    1) Wood is having a great season which he attributes to the fact that he is happily settled in London with his family.
    2) WBA have promised us first dibs on Wood.
    3) He loves us

    <ok>
