I think Maloney has been very unlucky with injuries. If he'd stayed healthy after joining us he certainly deserved more playing time as he is a very intelligent attacking player who knows how to make incisive passes, get open in the box, and put in some excellent crosses. His main weakness is covering back on defense IMO. Unfortunately I think he's past the point of no return with us and doesnt figure in our future plans.
we had a very British spine to our team under SB, but then he sold the majority of them to Championshit clubs. it kinda makes you wonder just how well they would have performed if we would have had a better manager.
His flick away at Franchise FC for the late goal was brilliant, don't think he had any other player who would've seen that opportunity and executed it. Surprised nobody has mentioned Malcolm Murray or Paul Hunter...
