City agree Sharp deal

We have agreed a fee with Doncaster for Billy Sharp



Rovers can tonight confirm that a fee has been agreed between ourselves and Leicester City for striker Billy Sharp.

Foxes manager Nigel Pearson has activated a clause in the contract of the 25-year old forward who has bagged 10 goals this season although personal terms are yet to be agreed.

Sharp was left out of the 18 man squad for the 2-0 defeat to Notts County in the FA Cup third round tie and manager Dean Saunders said "it's up to Billy" as to where his future lies.

Sharp and Nugent together will run defenses ragged! The mayhem they will cause will give more scoring opportunities for players like King.

 

Sharp is one of those players that always causes us problems. At least we won't have to worry about that any more!
