No not against the spurs, but against the Mighty Mackems I try and do things from memory without referring to record books. I can remember things that happened 20 years or so ago, moreso than I can that thing that have happened in last 20 years. An age thing reckon! Anyhow, I recall driving up from Slough to Euston accompanied by 2 of the other boot boys and parking my harvest gold 1100 behind the station On arriving at Maine Road we went into the Man City Club, Peter Swales was there (useless bit of info, but wtf) Witnessed John Hawley scoring a marvellous hat trick and us winning 4-0! Cant remember who scored the other goal And whats more we went top of the League!! I reckon that some of the older lads on this forum would have been there. Midweek Tuesday IIRC Very Happy days!! Who the **** are Tottenham HTFL
Great night mate, we drove over from Mansfield and parked our car down the back streets ... ... took us ages to get back to it after being chased around like a PacMan game Didn't Hawley score all four?
Hmm you may be right Smug. Im not going to look up On the subject of Hawley winessed him score a screamer for us at Highbury His Mrs currently appears on antiques road show, something like that anyhow. She wears weird stuff (more useless info !)
Same here mate, my memories are what they are and ... ... if they're wrong they're wrong. Like a bag of diamonds, I'm just happy to have them despite any flaws.
