I made a point today of watching him on and off the ball very closely and absolutely everything about his game is woeful.
If I hadn't seen him play before I'd honestly think he was a lower league player.
As a person he is meant to be a lovely chap and does a lot of unheralded work in the community for us so fair play.
On the pitch though... his time is up.
There's an old saying... form is temporary and class is permanent.
Applying this to Cisse I'd say it was the other way round and what we say from him in THAT half a season was a mixture of luck and 'right place right time'.
It could be argued that Pardew's selections and team set up don't get the best out of him but with Pardew being in situ until further notice I think Cisse needs to be moved on.
We simply can't have a striker drawing a £40k+ wage who turns it on every other season for 19 games.
Forget haggling over a million or two... it's time to move him on whilst the memories of his good times are still fresh.

Yhe guy looks a shadow of the player who scored fantastic goals one after the other. I blame Pardew mostly as he hasn't a clue how to get the best out of him. His confidence looks completely shot to pieces and I can't see Pardew improving it . Far better to sell him to the Russians now and give De Jong and Armstrong plenty of game time, especially now we are safe and likely to finish 8th or 9th .

De Jong hasn't been here long enough to have any quality crushed. Remember how Cisse used to be, HBA, Sissoko, Gouffran to a degree... They were so positive until they learned better.

Shame the lad should so much promise. Pity he missed that sitter today.

During that hot spell he had at first he was proper mint. And not just his finishing. His play off the ball was class. I literally cannot fathom what has happened to him. Is clearly just very unhappy with his current situation.

I think that after the wonga fiasco, he has just so much lost his confidence. Shame about that sitter today. Remy did the same, then went on to score a match winning goal.
Sadly, Cisse needs to move on and get a fresh start.

It was obvious today just how powder puff weak he really is. The decision making was off, the finishing was shocking (how that one before half time didn't go in!?!?!) and he was also incredibly lazy- when you play 2 up front your strikers need to give the defenders a hard time and he just didn't. Also not very quick and always offside.

You can try and blame Pards for some of this, but he just doesn't have the attributes. His confidence was obviously sky high during his initial burst, but a lot of his goals were flukey shots that went in, or offside. We can try and get his confidence up again, but at some point you have to say enough, and just take whatever money the Russians will give. Let Armstrong have some game time, and get LDJ up front with Remy.

He made a difference today when he came on. I think Pards is easing him in while he gets his match fitness back, we'll have a good strike force once LDJ can start games and give his all.

Problem is he is on loan with not many games left. Then we lose him and rely, cisse goes also and we back to square one.

Broken forever, sell as soon as possible. Use Armstrong. Recall Campbell if we have to. The Newcastle Torres is gone beyond recall.

Well his performances are pretty forgetable these days. Him and Cisse need to play in Holland or Greece. Somewhere gentle where it is easy to score goals.
