They'd be insane to loan him out. It's a shame that that isn't much of a reassurance.

If Cisse goes does that mean we are nearing an exit of Ashley?

Apparently Everton are in for him now. The shameless bastards must be offering him around.

For gods sake sell him abroad if we're going to sell him, I couldn't stand the inevitability of him regaining his form in our league. He has class within his boots but has been mistreated and now lacks too much confidence to perform for us. Even if its for less money make sure its a team who we wont play against.

Apparently the Everton rumour is a load of bollocks, came from a fake Twitter account.

Good. As Haslam says - if we sell him to a Prem team he will inevitably come good.

So even now we don't want to loan Cisse out, but of course we'd consider selling him. Absolute pack of bastards.

BREAKING: Arsenal made late loan move approach for Papiss Cisse. Newcastle rejected by saying, they'll sell him not loan him. [Sky Sports].

Yep, I'm sure they must. And who could blame them? If it were the other way around, I'd be highly amused.

Even though Cisse has gone off the boil, he still has it in him and could come good again.

What I am pleased about is that we dodged a bullet with not signing Modibo Maiga instead, when we were linked with him. After a thoroughly miserable spell at West ham, he's now off to the Championship with 'Arry's 'Oops.

Cisse survived the cull this time.
He wont be so lucky in the summer unless he starts recovering his form.
As it stands he's deadwood taking up a valuable first team squad place.

I would like to think he'll get back to form, but wont hold my breath.

Sounds like he didn't want the moves offered - even with more money (according to 'reports'). If so, then he must be willing to fight for his place, which could be very good news if it means he hits form again.

I hope he does fight for his place and hits form.
He should be one of the first names on the teamsheet against the mackems, instead of relying on Shola again.
Maybe he's needed a kick up the backside to get him going.
