According to the Sunday Mirror Cisse has been banned to train alone because of the Wonga Sponsorship carry on.
For gods sake he's there only decent striker, and they are having this Mexican standoff with him, could it get any dafter in NE1.

Skunks have rubbished it and said he's training alone for ramadan. Even though there's no report of Tiote training alone. I love it when they slip into denial mode <laugh>

A strange state of affairs this. Surely even the mags won't shoot themselves here? He has offered to wear a different shirt for charity. Unless Wonga are insisting every shirt has there name on? I've no idea how much the mags got from this deal but clearly someone didn't see the consequences.

Mike Ashley is not only a complete genius, he is also thoroughly entertaining. I'm barely able to wait for the next installment!

It's not the immorality, it's the religious guidelines. He's a hypocrite because both Wonga and Virgin money are money lenders. One does long term the other does short term. Both still money lenders no matter how you look at it imo

    The same thing as Wonga.

The region it is against Muslim beliefs is due to the fact they charge interest on it (NOT the amount of interest, the fact it exists..). Now, tell me, do Virgin Money do interest free loans??

    Do they ****.

I guess they must do in their own countries mate, couldn't tell you 100% on that, I just know that this is what was cited, the fact they charged interest, not the fact they were short term/high interest.

No apparently they play a game around a gift with enhanced "informal" repayments.
