Fair play to him. Has the ability to play at a higher level than us, as he showed at Reading for two seasons. Also respect to Owen Coyle for ringing DM in person to tell him the situation.

One of the best clubs in the Championship, so good luck to him.

    Good on him.

Shame about all the ambiguity, but when you're out of contract you're free to do what you want. Wish him all the luck in the future.

We have missed out on a very good player, the wage cuts are starting to bite.

I didn't expect him to come back to us but that is a little too close to home.

Shame really but he must do what's best for him. As you say banksy we are starting to see the cold reality of not being able to pay top money to get the top players to improve our fortunes but Derek has a history of working with no budget so let's hope he can produce miracles with what he has at his disposal. The economics of the game are starting to hit home and we don't want to go down the path that has led to the near extinction of some well known club. I suppose it is what it is, and living with that reality is becoming clearer by the day.

He's exercising his right to move when out of contract, so i have no problem with that - however we have Marv and Skuse - let's use the wages to strengthen where we need to
