When you play as a defender you just can't let Djibril to run that position. His finish from there is so lethal. That man is clinical finisher, and i sincerely hope he stays fit and coolheaded.

Looking good for the coming season. Let's hope he keeps that red mist firmly locked away in a jar!

He's going to be a marked man in the new season so hopefully Mark has got his head right because Cisse when fit and on the pitch will define where we finish at the end of the season. We have alternate strikers but not quite in his class.

He was outstanding with his finishing today - even that chip that lobbed the keeper and hit the post was amazing.

I just worry that we rely on him too much as we dont have much in terms of goals from our other strikers. We really do need another ST.

Anyone else been noticing him getting frustrated with his team mates at times in these friendlies?

He certainly isn't everybodys friend and a lovely lad, but very rarely good goalscorers are such. Good goalscorers are usually arrogant selfish bas***ds (ibrahimovich, RvP ,Ronaldo, berbatov etc.) but IMO Cisse may be little more down to earth man compared to them. Anyway as long he keeps scoring and being tolarated by his team mates its good enough. Cisse is going to be a goalscoring sensation in the prem on the future season if he stays on the pitch and plays regularly.

The only person who can stop him scoring for us is the referee and his cards
