    He supports Sunderland and they're in the Prem which is where he wants to be (he's made that as clear as crystal)

    <ok>

    Once again proving your intelligence with another completely pathetic post <ok> Keep 'em coming, they're making my afternoon enjoyable <laugh>

    Do you think he'd had the nod for the Sunderland job when he turned down your ladyboy owners?

    Old knobcheeseben thinks that's a civil question <yikes> I'd hate to see what he posts when he wants to take the piss

    Here's another comment that shows your intelligence <laugh>

    He may well have done, but as i've said, he made clear as crystal that he wanted to be in the Premier League.

    Do you think you can get your head around that? <ok>

    Odd team to start supporting in the 60s. Each to their own I suppose.

    All respect to MON, but when he said "im glad to be back in football" at his first press conference, what he meant to say was "im glad to be back in football at this level".

    He supported Sunderland and Celtic as a kid apparently, the connection with one is obvious, the other is rather harder to fathom.

    He supported Sunderland because his childhood footballing idol, Charlie Hurley, played for them in the 60's
