Christmas Time...

Christmas... A time for family, friends, love and warmth, <continuing inserting illogical and irrelevant bullcrap til your heart is quite content>...
This festival, a christian propaganda rip-off of pagan celebrations (the saturnalia et al), most certainly couldn't bear remnants of power-status trading networks known to anthropologists the world over, or any hint of corporate greed, or indeed display a mass process of institutionalization... Even if we have a Santa in coca-cola's home strip sitting a-top our plastic trees...

Put aside your joyous merriment and mince-pies for a second (the latter particularly if you're at Gazza's the Christmas), and let's talk what genuinely does well this year, business...

Mike Ashley, a scrooge-incarnate if ever you were to look for one, will probably be neglecting whatever family he hasn't eaten, in order to focus on more ways of turning our club into an advertisement haven (*cough* still no takers for your stadium name dumbass *cough*). Well, what more does he have up his sleeves? Force the players to have tattoos of various willing parties? Put a sportsdirect.com badge all-over the seats?
How ironic the only place he wouldn't dream of splattering that **** is where we'd all love to see it, on the urinals!

Well, considering it's christmas and we've all given our money to the already rich in exchange for material possessions to appease the insecurities of relations and friends, I thought it high time we get in on the act, but for a genuine "christmas" purpose...
My proposal? We advertise on ebay the opportunity for a company to pay us £100,000... What for?, you may ask... Well, in exchange we would sing their name on television at the next live game. A first in supporter history (if you don't count chants with the "any publicity is good publicity" attention-whore perspective (ie. "sportsdirect is f-ing ****"), and bound to end up a big.
What do would we do with the money? Well, I'd give it to the Sir Bobby Foundation, but of course there are many worthy charitable options... Thoughts?

Anyway, good tidings to everyone this 25th of December... Whether you're a cynic like me, or otherwise...




Also... I bloody hope we win tomorrow... Hope you're listening and not ficticious Jesus...

I find you can make 1 + 1 add up to anything with a few beers... Which is why I advocate breathalizing the scientists who have found this "god" particle, just to make sure...
