Sat with a glass of red and circling all the tele I want to record this christmas. Tradition of mine. I like the classic films, and some old comedy rubbish as well. Wife goes mad because I record stuff I recorded last year but never watched <laugh>. Anyway some early favs had the bid red pen circling it.

The big sleep
Die hard
The wizard of oz (scares the **** out of me tbh)
Trading places
Godfather 1 and 2
Close encounters (what a bloody film)
Zulu (every bloody year)
Four weddings and a funeral (i shouldnt I know but I love it)
Magnificent seven
Butch cassidy
Outlaw Josey Wales (all time fav western)
Rain man

Missus will go mad when she gets her magazine back <laugh><laugh>

Fair play to you mate. Because of Sky, netflix etc etc it's just not the same anymore. Bought the Radio Times for tradition (bawked at the £5.50 like), but havn't checked it out yet. Will try to avoid tv and play games with the kids whilst drinking my way through it all.

Agree mate. I just like looking through and picking out stuff then set record on the sky box. This year I wont get chance to watch much as we have a house full at Christmas and New Year. Maybe in Jan, I will sit down flick through and delete it all again <laugh>

Dive a bit deeper, into these stations no buggers watches, late at night and there are some belters!

Big trouble in little China!!
Full metal jacket
Bill and Ted
Heat of the night
The Goonies (always makes me feel great, even now)
The Howling
House that dripped blood
Smokey and the Bandit
Police Academy
Predator

I'd sit and watch any of them.

Some good choices mate.
Remember getting the tv and radio times and circling all the watch list ?
Them were the days

I remember that as a youngster in the 90s, sat going through the TV lists. Good job mam and dad got me a pack of 5 Scotch 240s tapes. Best believe they were getting hammered.
