Christmas? It's not Christmas, it's xmas! Nothing to do with peace and good will, all to do with money grabbing, cynical 'entrepreneurs' looking to get as much Chinese goods onto our shores (made by people who are virtually slaves) for us to buy at extortionate prices so that those 'enteprenours' can buy their own islands and football teams. Meanwhile the millions of tons of plastic that ends up in our tips or floating around the oceans poisons the animals and works its way back up the food chain to us; we are all complicit in a chain of events that we turn a blind eye to and yet we will all be gnashing our teeth and asking for redemption from a non existent God when it's all to fekin late. BA fekin humbug, but wake up and smell the fekin coffee, the world is awash with plastic. Fekin xmas- roast in hell....yes I've had a drink

I lived in China for 3-years, I have seen the wholesale devastation that country did to the envioronment in pursuit of money and power. Have a look at our east coast ports that are being deepened and enlarged in readiness for the millions more tons of containers, much of it carrying ****e, for our 'entrepreneurs' to sell at hugely inflated prices. People buy ****e and don't think about it, as I put earlier we are all complicit, but there will be a reckoning. I just feel that the governments of this world, the advertising industries and the so called 'entrepreneurs' have created a 'I want, want, want' monster of a society. They will not hesitate in taking any opportunity to exploit people, anywhere in the world, for gain. My 2-yr old granddaughter watching television this morning, had she been allowed to watch the channel 5 children's shows, would have been bombarded with toy adverts every 5-10 minutes. Other children may be in that situation hour after hour and I find that obscene; in a just society there would be no advertising to children. People such as 'jabba-the-hutt-Ashley' thrive on that and the fact that he then links his club to wonga, speaks volumes about the greed and corruption in this country. Let's be clear about the devastation: 15-years ago a scientist discovered that many birds on a Pacific island were feeding their chicks plastic cigarette lighters, which they thought were fish. The chicks died a fekin horrible death, but what was done about it? Well, we now have the likes of 'Poundland' selling such junk in the millions and a plastic swamp the size of Texas floating in the Pacific Ocean. Yes I'm now sober, probably thought of as mad as a box of frogs, but I fekin hate xmas with a passion
Already finished the christmas shopping for everyone except the wife and I'm getting her a tattoo so that's a lot more difficult!!
Different strokes for different folks, I'm enjoying Xmas because I'm seeing it as a father watching all the joys my daughter gets from it.
