    Despite being on our own, Mme has excelled herself with our Christmas dinner. As she is qualified to teach cookery and nutrition a trip to the kitchen is a wonder to behold . She now combines traditional English fare with some of the best that she has learnt from our time in France. Of course not everything goes as planned. Having decided that the cream to go on the Christmas pudding was a bit thin and runny, she popped it into the freezer to thicken up, then forgot about it. One lump or two was the result. <doh>
