please log in to view this image What is going to be turning up on your plate this Christmas? In the Grove household it will be the following; Turkey (crown), maple glazed gammon, pigs in blankets, sausage meat stuffing balls, roast spuds, roast parsnips, roast carrots, broccoli, peas, sweet corn, Yorkshire puds, gravy. No sprouts. Yorkies at Christmas has only been a thing since Mrs Grove insisted on them, normally they only ever appeared with roast beef. I'm perfectly aware I've done the Christmas Dinner thread before but it's traditional so there.
Dunno what I'll be doing this year. We're having a pre-Christmas Japanese feast on the 23rd. Whatever we're having on the big day it will involve sprouts. Anyone who doesn't like Brussels sprouts is a cum-guzzling ****bucket.
Nuthin could be worse than eating sprouts. Nuthin. ...with the possible exception of baked beans on yer cooked brekkie.
Turkey (whole thing, not a ****y crown), pork sausagemeat, oatmeal and onion stuffing, chipolatas, roasties, mash, sprouts with chestnuts, parsnips and carrots with a honey glaze, Yorkshire’s, gravy and bread sauce. Think that’s it.
Quiet one at ours this year, only 14 coming Still should be a decent one. Julie does all the cooking and I put the dishes in the dishwasher. FEMINIST BITCH
No starter. Used to do one but found it bagged them up for the main meal. They’ll have profiteroles with double cream. I usually buy a wee Christmas pudding coz am the only one who likes it. My big sis up north brings me down a home made Christmas cake every year. I’m the only one who eats it so she just makes me a wee one.
