How are we feeling for the new year? Optomistic I hope? But there is always that nagging doubt that we're going to throw it all away with our traditional new year slump.

The last two games have been decent results in the context of other results around us, but the next month will really seal our fate for me. If we come out of Janurary with a decent lead then we'll carry it though till may.

The most important thought for a pessimist is that there are now 15 points between us and 6th. The play-offs should be secured.

Anyway I doubt I'll be on here much over the next week or so though I'll be reading when I get a chance.

So here's to a Happy Christmas for all Not606ers! Glad tidings to all!

Also here's my gift to you; it's an interview with a department store Santa (I've lost the receipt I'm afraid so you'll have no choice but to read it):

Brian Donovan is a 41 year old self-unemployed divorced dad from London. He is a store Santa at a reputable Department Store in Central London. Here’s his story.

” I first started being ‘Santa’ in 2008, partly on my therapist’s advice. The Bill had just been axed so the acting roles dried up; of course there was always Casualty but I didn’t really want to relocate to Bristol where it’s filmed as I hardly see the boys as it is.

That was very avant-garde; was that James Corden as Santa? Nonetheless slightly arousing thanks.
