The French side have now been given permission to talk to the Denmark international. Source: http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/reds-agree-poulsen-transfer Looks like he is on his way out... Personal terms and medical still need to be agreed. Thoughts?
Oh sweet Jesus what a beautiful moment! Tears of joy! On a side note, thanks for always give 100%. Not your fault you're pants.
Kenny is shipping out the deadwood quicker than we thought. We're going to be lean and mean in no time.
seriously, who the feck are they, you know what it's like we generally get to know most teams in the top leagues around europe but have never heard of these before (although don't see much french footy) Edit: just seen on bbc that they only got promoted this season.
Evian are a French side who have just been promoted to Ligue 1. They were founded in 2003 after a merger between FC Gaillard and FC Ville-la-Grand.
I think this is the team that only got promoted this season for the first time in their history. there was a story about some player or TV star in France who supports them and had a bet on that he would run through the streets naked if they got into the 1st division, which he now must do.
they have a unique kit as well. i'm sure the pink will suit poulsen lovely: http://www.fff.fr/common/bib_img/images/470000/4500/091013175503_700Evian-Thonon-Gaillard-[].jpg please log in to view this image
Off topic slightly but - Fulham agree a £10.6m fee with FC Twente for Costa Rica winger Bryan Ruiz, Sky Sports News reports. The 26-year-old scored 39 goals in 61 games fr the Dutch club. What a good signing for Fulham.
well they need someone to help them score in the premiership but yeah looks a very good deal for them
Excellent signing! £10.6M is a lot of money for Fulham as well... Don't remember Al Fayed spending that much money on one player before.
Just had a look at wicki page for Evian Thonon Gaillard and they have been through a few mergers and tried to move to switzerland etc interesting story and yes as I thought the Evian bit of the name to do with money.
Could go one of two ways - do as well as Suarez or be another Kezmen. Never can be sure with the scoring rates in the Dutch League. I thought he was a centre forward as well not a winger?
