According to Wikipedia he's over 60! ....and used to play for Montpellier! So that's par for the course then!

On a more serious note, what do we know about this saviour who is coming for a month's holiday with no commitment?
 
I do know he is a striker. I wonder if he is related to the famous Spanish player in 1982 world cup, lopez ufarte. I always thought he and town's dungworth could add some atmosphere for the shrews.

AJ is in shrewsbury tomorrow morning and hopes to be in the 3 fishes at opening time 11am? for at least an hour. sadly I cannot make the gills game as I am in Ludlow all day Saturday. I know the nags head on the cop Is good .

Liam Mcalinden has now signed on a three month loan from Wolves - you wait ages for one striker then two come along at once! Sadly I am working on Saturday and cannot make the game but wish the two new lads well. Presumably Lopez will partner Bradshaw and Mcalinden might come on later. That does mean that one of Parry, Reach and Taylor will have to drop to the bench.
 
I agree Lenny - perhaps all three wingers can play a part so GT can be a bit more proactive with his substitutions to give us a bit more energy later on in the game.
 
Let's hope for a good game on Saturday then, would be great to watch what is already some nice football but one that results in us walking out smiling as we have won!
 
First time I have seen Lopez at Posh today. He worked hard and had a few classy touches but did not seem to me to be much of a goalscorer either in terms of his movement in the box or his finishing - lets hope he can do better on Tuesday night.
 
hi matster, just spotted your photo analysis of me. aw gee sucks, my cover of 6' 5" is blown, but I did enjoy my 3 hours in salop!!
 
Has tweeted his thanks to Shrewsbury, guess he is returning to huddersfield. Had some good moments for us, just needed other players to pass ball to his feet or put through balls where he wanted it. Good luck Christian.
 
He looked the part at times but did seem to fade out of games in the second half and clearly is still learning about football in this country. I wish him well and hope we can bring Eaves back as surely he cannot be happy on the Rotherham bench.
