Afc are selling Christian Jolley in Jan maybe worth a look.been banging in for Newport on loan

 

If hes not good enough for AFC, why would we want him? We need an experienced league striker, not another non league playing striker that cant hack it at league level.

If we do spend money this transfer window we should be looking owards building for life in L1. Midson and Jolley shouldn't be on the radar

 

No thanks, last season he looked good at the start but towards the end of the season he went down the drain so I don't think that is the sort of player we want he is a back up standard player and we should be looking for players to improve the starting 11.

 

But Gavin Tomlin was not exactly firing them in for D&G

 

I was thinking about him at the time but then again Tomlin did have a bit of a record in the past in the league Jolley don't have much of a record

 

But not many clubs are going to let decent strikers go maybe try and get Cody Mac back

Like brb said in another post, Cody Mac was only scored as many as he did due to his link up play with Bayo. Now we haven't got Bayo would he be still as successful or be bit more of a flop like he has been at Coventry? Or could Kedwell be the ideal person to link up with Cody Mac? Either way I don't think it particularly likely that he would come back to us. Anyways we all remember us pleading for the return of Chris Dickson and he did absolutely naff all on his return.

 

Be nice to pick up a pair like Asaba and SuperBob right now to add to the team which, overall, is fairly bristling with goals.
