Lars Olsen ‏ @LarsOlsen4 Hearing from some lad of mine that Christian Eriksen has agreed terms with Arsenal. Not sure about source yet, though. Interesting. #AFC
Yes please, but the guy that posted it seems to be some random guy on twitter. Way to get my hopes up!
No ones getting gotze kyle? Hes staying put. Eriksen isnt thought to be as good because he isnt tested in a major league but.is quality nonetheless.....though i dont know why im saying all thia we havent got ether!
This guy is a great player (or at least could be)... would be a top signing but I wouldnt be too hopfeul about a twitter post. here's a little Youtube vid
Would be a ****ing great signing!! such a classy player, impeccable technique. (cant say I believe a word of it though) To be honest though If we sign him I'd be slightly worried that its a sign RVP is leaving. He plays as an attacking mid but also sometimes as a striker.
The matches I've seen him in he was MotM or a contender, but I'm not going to pretend I have seen him in too many games like some here pretend they have for Goetze. It's impressive how many appearances he has had for Ajax though, being so young.
Nobody's getting Gotze though. Dortmund have closed in on another League victory(with record points) and the Bundesleague is on the up. There's no good reason for him to leave the club he supports.
Are we sure it's THAT Christian Eriksen? Remember when it was announced we'd signed a 19 year old from Dortmund, and it turned out to be Eisfeld. I assume Eriksen is a pretty common name in Denmark, there's bound to be more than 1.
You clearly know nothing if you think Eriksen's a typical "second best" signing. He'd be quality for us and the only way Gotze is leaving Dortmund is if he's going somewhere like Barcelona/Madrid where he's almost guaranteed trophies and a huge wage packet. However, I swear Eriksen was heavily linked to Man Utd and it'd be very tough to compete with them for a player.
I didn't mean in the typical sense, Eriksen is an outstanding player, it's just that he's not as outstanding as Mario Gotze. Eriksen would be excellent for us, like i said in my 1st post, i see him as a better version of Nasri.
Ahh, it just seemed from that post that you thought it wouldn't be a good signing . I think in terms of value for money, Eriksen's probably the better option as Dortmund would (rightly) want a lot for Gotze and despite Eriksen not exactly being a cheap option, I think Ajax would be willing to part with him for less.
Sorry to burst everyones bubble but this is just some bs story on twitter. I can make one about us signing messi tomorrow if you like and you can all get excited over that
