Played well for Costa Rica at the world cup, but didn't he at some point sign for us only to never play due to visa restrictions!!! Shame that he looked petty good!
That's the guy - though uncertain if he signed, definitely didn't get a permit. The club went all out appealing the decision, but it just wasn't to bee. No surprise to see him carve out a good career though.
Yep could not get a work permit. I have now idea how you can fail to get a work permit in this country, I suppose he should have just turned up and started playing and let the authorities take 12 years to process his application at which point he could have sired 34 children and asked for free housing and benefits-some people just don't know how to play the system.
This country does not need footballers and their untold amounts of tax. We need more Kurdish Big Issue sellers. FACT.
