Both Leeds and Wolves have had £2.5M bids accepted for Chris Wood QPR are also interested http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/Lei...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
He´ll do well at Wolves. I wouldn´t got to Leeeeeeeeds or QPR if I was him. Championship is his level though. Eh ! what´s happening with QPR any way, I thought they were being relegated to Sunday lge ?
What about Liam Moore, wasn't there talk of you guys letting him go out on loan to the championship a couple weeks ago. Is this still happening? we were heavily linked.
... I think this could still happen and Leeds would be a good move to play alongside Bamba - who he will at least be acquainted with from his Leicester days ... if you were to get Chris Wood too I'd be tempted to risk a sneaky fiver each-way on you for a promotion campaign ... what are your odds currently?
Bad In fairness I reckon this season (even if everything continues as positively as it has all summer) is too soon for us. We have seriously sorted out our backroom staff which was taken apart when Cellino arrived.
I cant see this happening until we get another defender in, don't expect this loan to be before pre-seasons over. Good news that loads of clubs want Wood, lets drive his price up some more!
Leeds have won the race for Leicester striker Chris Wood in a £3million deal. The Elland Road club were battling Wolves and QPR for the 23-year-old New Zealand international. But Leeds have dug the deepest to get him out of the King Power Stadium where the Foxes were demanding a profit after paying West Brom £2m for the ace in 2013
I work with a Leeds fan and he says it is being reported that they have won the race for him for £2.7M - £2M upfront and 700k upon promotion. So only £2M then On a serious note, good luck to the lad.
He is a very capable player in the championship. You have to remember the only reason he didn't play more during our title winning season was because of the form of Nugent and Vardy. If Wood can rediscover his form then Leeds have got themselves a striker who can easily score 20 goals a season. Good luck to the lad and I hope he does well for them
His debut next to nugent was top class. Good player, just not good enough for us... yet. Something back-stage definately happened though as he mysteriously vanished form the first team and never properly made it back...
Fair enough, I'm actually surprised you'd be letting him go even just for a season. Looks like a very capable defender to me and someone who could push your first team as well.
He's a top championship defender and still young. I think if he had a successful year in the championship, he'd take over from Wasyl next year.
