cant see it happening, we wouldn't play him until we had the full blessing of the football league, and they will have a hangover on new years day morning.
@StringerSport: #lcfc assistant manager Craig Shakespeare says paperwork for Chris Wood not 100% complete. I'd be shocked of he didn't play vs Huddersfield
What's your view on him Steve? - must confess he didn't blow my socks off during the World Cup, but that is a pretty big stage to impress on. PS please accept my sympathy / empathy for nicking him - I remember how that feels - we had Mark Davies on loan from Wolves a couple of years back and he was real quality but we lost out to Bolton and the lure of immediate prem football when they decided that a permanent move could be done ...
We had curtis davies who even tweeted that he joined us before a literal last-minute switch to birmingham...
No probs Fossy as **** happens and he's not the be all and end all even though I'd have loved to bag him tbh as it would've shown ambition but we have to live within our means which is the bigger picture and he'll be replaced - Simon Church is on Kenny's radar atm and has been for quite a while and Kenny usually gets his man. I only saw him play a couple of times home Leeds & Barnsley because of work , hasn't got a great first touch but he knows where the goal is and scores spectacular goals, Blackburn & Brighton away. He only created one goal I believe which was the knock back for Keogh's winner at Wolves if you saw it?
Via lcfc.com Manager Nigel Pearson will hope to have striker Chris Wood available for City’s opening game of 2013 against out-of-sorts Huddersfield. Wood is due to complete a move from West Bromwich Albion once the January transfer window is open and could make his debut at King Power Stadium should his registration be ratified by the Football League and the FA.
