Was a worthwhile question - there has been a lot of speculation but nothing of any substance - and not for the first time - there were many rumours flying about regarding Pearson's relationship with Matt Mills and his 'absence' from the first team squad - these ranged from Pearson being 'ginger phobic' to Pearson taking exception to Mills' interpretation of 'getting into the box more' as referring to Nigel's daughter rather than ours or the oppositions ... all that can be said for sure was that Mills' fall from grace was dramatic and without chance for redemption ...
We were the first club ever to have a player that captained a club through all four leagues. He's a club legend, a player who would die for the cause, a player that every City fan thinks deserves a statue outside the KC. He's a very easy going bloke(at least was off off the pitch), but he thinks Nigel is an utter ****. I think Nigel does a decent job as a manager, but he's as media savvy as a potato and he does regularly fall out with players.
