Great news. Going to be top top player for Utd and England. Makes me smile even more when I look at Liverpool and Arsenal's CB's. <laugh>

Great news. Smalling is the next big CB for United and England and with Jones beside him we have a very solid partnership for many years.

Good. This bloke has a really bright future at United, seemed like a lot of money then for a Fulham bench warmer but Fergie has once again shown that he knows better than we do. Smalling was probably on reserve team wages too so that has been corrected now. He has positively surprised just about everyone and has the potential to be a top class centre half for many years to come for United

Also the fact that fans of those same teams used to laugh at us on the old 606, after we had bought him, whilst he finished his season at Fulham.
Mind you who would have thought he would leapfrog Evans, who had been really good for us the previous season.
Well done Smalling a deserved new contract for a player with a very bright future.

I think this is great news as he had a great 1st season for us when many United fans doubted him but he adapted well to the premier league.
