From the official website: Chris Ramsey set to link up with Les Ferdinand to assist in overseeing the QPR Academy LES Ferdinand has welcomed the imminent arrival of Chris Ramsey to Loftus Road, with the 52 year-old coming in to provide immediate support in overseeing the QPR Academy. Ramsey, who left Tottenham Hotspur in June as part of a backroom reshuffle following Mauricio Pochettino's arrival at White Hart Lane, has forged a fine coaching career at both club and international level. He arrives in the wake of Richard Allen's pending move to the Football Association, coupled with the recent departure of Nick Daws to Scunthorpe United. Working alongside Ferdinand at the Concorde Club in the role of Head of Player Development & Academy Manager, Ramsey officially takes up his new role on November 1st. Ferdinand told www.qpr.co.uk: "I have worked with Chris for a number of years and his availability comes at a good time for the club. "The shareholders have a long-term commitment in developing the Academy and Chris arrives with a proven track record and will only help what we are all trying to achieve. "I want Chris to help me with player development and also manage the academy which is such an important part of every club's future plans. "He's one of the best coaches I've ever worked with and has an excellent eye for a player. "I know the qualities he will bring to the role and he will provide me with the support I need in the short term, to help fill the void left by Richard and Nickâs decision to move on to new opportunities."
A big no from me on this one (BAE), we don't need another waster onboard, we have Yun, and in an emergency Traore or Clint can fill the LB position. Now if Harry took BAE, he'd play him and poor old Yun would be undeservedly a bench warmer. An executive position where he is not required to read or write anything, no doubt. And where Kevin Bond takes his phone calls.
Why not, were already playing in a white strip .............. it's only time before 'he who has head like bowling ball' comes walking thru the door.
Had to laugh on Sunday afternoon when Ian Wright was having a go at players who get paid lots of money and don't do anything. (In reference to Adel's lack of fitness etc.) Maybe he should invite his son around for Sunday lunch and tell him.
