I bet he is doing copious amounts of women, drink and drugs in Vegas as we speak. To celebrate.

Well deserved and would have been a major surprise if he hadn't got it. Championship, L1 and L2 awards all went to the winning managers.

It does indeed, although it hard to see who else could have got it - Mancini and shyteloads of cash and nearly blew it, Fergie did blow it, Wenger is losing his marbles and Arry, well enough said. That leaves you with Pardew who in all fairness has made a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Other than one of the promoted three - Rodgers, Lambert and Warn....well maybe not. You see what I'm saying.......

Pardew did a fantastic job and thoroughly deserved it. It is not given for being a nice person. Had they been involved in a relegation struggle, or even gone down, it would have been less of a surprise than getting a European spot.

Special mention for Roberto Martínez who did a great job to keep Wigan up (in the end with a 7 point margin) and who represents all that is best in football.

Moyes and Martinez are good shouts and deserve mentions in dispatches but I can't see past Pardew to be honest.
