Sorry for the link but written a piece here which should interest most of you, it's on Chris Powell's role in the revival of our club (as well as a bit of a dig at Dowie, Pardew etc) http://blog.oddslife.com/2012/07/charlton-chris-powell-rises/ Hope you enjoy it, please let me know your thoughts !
Cracking bit of writing, Sam - we certainly have more than our fair share of wordsmiths on this site.
Sam, a perfectly timed article. Optimism in the closed season is what it's all about and you express that well. PP and Uncle Les will always get a clap from me, Pardew and Dowie on the other hand...
A good piece to forward to my non-Addick friends. Only blemish was the silly extension to his Batman analogy naming Pardew, Reed and Parky as Dowie's henchmen. I understand that he only means they continued Dowie's work of dragging the club down, but still poor writing. Also surprised we have all missed the arrival and departure of the Football League's first female team manager, Paula Sousa. What were her vital statistics?
Just look at this from the O/S - absolutely brilliant - arise, Doctor Chris! http://www.cafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10267~2865533,00.html
