    Anyone heard anything about his situation yet would assume he could raise a few quid if sold for the transfer kitty or do you think mr Heewtun will give him a go

    At the moment he's fourth or fifth choice, depending on whether or not Vaughan manages to stay fit.

    I guess it will all depend on whether or not we sign a new striker. If we do, he'll go out on loan for the season again. If we don't he'll most likely go out until January with a recall clause as a precaution for injuries/suspensions.

    I can't see him being let go just yet as he's still only 23.

    Chris Martins future is with Hooton! Martin could be incorporated into midfield or even loaned again, we'll have to see but I've always rated his quality. Great finisher and fills the gap between the Holts/Morisons and the Vaughan/Jacksons

    My palace supporting friend reckoned a lot of teams at end of season were interested on a permanent signing, so maybe hughton is weighing his options up before dipping into market or selling his strikers.
