On the move again... Lincoln fans are giving him some proper stick on this thread: Sounds like he had 2 good games a season and blamed everyone but himself... Now why does that sound familiar
Waste of ability. Too old to make the best of it now. He'll be another who will wake up in a few years, needing a job and knowing if he'd applied himself he could have banked enough never to have to worry about cash again.
you turn up and contribute in every game you play and the fans will appreciate the work you put in, no matter which club. you turn up and expect the fans to love you even when you play badly or show little interest then they will let you know. appreciation needs to work both ways, on his day a very good league one player, a bit more 'work ethic' and he might have made a decent chanmpionship player...
An independent commission initially served Maguire with a £750 fine and a warning, but a successful FA appeal means he has now been served with a six-week suspension from all football activities. That suspension has been backdated to November, meaning the 34-year-old is now free to resume his playing career. It is unclear what Maguire's next steps will be having signed for Hartlepool United ahead of his hearing earlier this season. That deal was designed to take into account a potential future ban, but was therefore rejected by the PFA and the move did not progress.
