I'll do it. In fact I'll do anything for money, just let me know what you want, I've watched "The League of Gentlemen" so I don't have any boundries.
Here's the thing, you get to nine points on your licence and suddenly the penny drops.....don't speed. Or maybe not in Chris Huhne's case.
I haven't looked too much into the case - but it seems a bit over the top to get 8 months for trying to dodge a driving offence.
Agree with Mike. Sir Alex Ferguson was caught speeding but dodged prosecution because Man Utd refused to tell the police who was driving his car. AFAIK that is accurate, it's as it was reported. If I ever get a speeding ticket I'll be trying that tactic.
Lib Dems have always been up for a bit of Tradesman's entrance action. Have been since Jeremy Thorpe!..
Understood and the court system is so far up its own arse that it will give someone who commits a 'driving offence + lies in court' a heavier sentence than it would for someone found with the likes of 'child pornography + tells truth in court'.
I couldn't believe it when I heard they'd both got eight months. It's not even an offence worthy of real punishment FFS! A fine of a couple of hundred quid is sufficient, let alone prison
