cant see it, he is too much of a nice guy to manage a top four team, plus i would want to see him manage a premier league team for 2years running and match or improve on his previous season before i could take him more serious.

Wouldn't rule him out some ways down the line. Reasons:
1. Knows the club inside out
2. Did a decent enough job as Asst Man and also standing in at Spurs when he had virtually no other managerial experience
3. Was able to turn it around at Newcastle and get them promoted etc before getting treated poorly. Maybe not a 'Top 4' experience, but managing the expectations at that club are never easy.
4. Has continued to do well (with limited resources and talent) at Norwich.
5. Appears to be totally implacable - deals well with adversity and performs well with the Media
Yes, he may not have any top level experience and probably needs a year or two to cement his reputation at PL level, but I wouldn't discount him.

If Spurs were looking for a Manager then Hughton might be considered it will depend on where he is at the time and what he has achieved. There are so very few Managers with an unblemished record in the game it's all a bit of a lottery and luck plays its part.
Perhaps we could stage a manager tournament with a series of matches to see who wins!

The bloke is a legend, 1st black player to play for Rep of Ireland, even has his own massive 'in action' photo portrait on the 'wall of fame' that runs around the premium level of the new Aviva stadium.
Every chance he could be considered for the Ireland job after Trapattoni.

We'll see how he does. In 10 years time when AVB leaves for a new challenge after winning the Premier League with us for the 10th season in a row he might be a good shout or he might not.
He's got experience of managing big clubs as well, thought he did well at Newcastle with what he had, and Newcastle and Spurs are relatively similar sized clubs with high expectations.
I really could see Hughton at a top 4/6 club in the future, needs to add "tophe" at the end of his first name to be in with a shout though
