So according to Sky Sports, Sir Chris is one of the leading candidates for the WBA job and is keen on the position.

If he gets the job, will people want him to do well despite him being at a relegation rival?

If he gets the job, I wish them well and top-flight survival as long as it's not at our expense

As long as it's not at our expense I hope he does amazing.

Nobody deserves it more. After the way he was booted out by Ashley he's said nothing but good things about our club. Less can be said about Big Sam, Souness etc.

Hughton will always be a geordie.

He's going to a club that treat Di Matteo equally as bad as he was treat here. I'd have thought he'd wait for something that might be a bit more permanent.

But then again WBA have a good team and play good football. If he can save them from relegation this reputation will only be increased.
