Well The Hammers are down and need a new manager and who better to do that than the great man CH!

He has the experience but would his Spuds connections be an issue!

    Thoughts?

Thought the same the second I saw Grant was gone. Seems a no brainer really, I'd be more surprised if it didn't happen.

Yeah it would seem a good idea to have him there as it was a similar situation with us when we went down, would like to see them bounce straight back up aswell.

I'll copy what I posted in the eBar:

Hughton second favourite to get the West Ham job. I'd love to see him back in management, but West Ham is probably the most undesirable job in English football right now. Most of their players are **** and the handful of good ones will leave. I think they'll struggle next season unless they spend wisely over the summer.

I agree. It dont seem right the premiership without them but I just think this is perfect for Mr Hughton. This is his opportunity to show again that hes a canny manager and if successful he could land himself a little nich job as 'a saviour to all'

A bit like us when we got relegated. We got rid of the money baggers and brought in some good players who wanted to play in the prem. Almost the same situation as we where in really 2 years ago!

It's not at all though. We had Carroll, Nolan, Enrique, Coloccini, Jonas. They have one or two decent players (Parker, Ba) but they'll leave in the summer. Their team is nowhere near as good as the one we got relegated with, and it'll be even worse after the summer.

This is true but then who WOULD have wanted to work under cashley when we went down....... Having said that working under (as in literally) Brady might have some advantages.... giving her a ahem 1 might release some cash!

He was already employed by Mike though.

I thought you were suggesting she was attractive for a minute, then realised you were implying she'd be the one paying for it. <ok>

Who wouldnt want to work under brady
    :emoticon-0182-poolp

But nah hope they come back up, had a soft spot for them since the likes of Di canio, Cole and they always produce good youngsters

Hughton would do a cracking job there.. getting them promoted within 3 seasons..

I would expect to much and demand promotion at the first attempt.
