I guess it was only a matter of time.

""David started his career in the FC Twente youth system, but decided to leave the club in 2013 to join Fulham, who were at the time coached by Dutchman Martin Jol. The 21 year-old has failed to hold down a place in the Fulham first team and has only made seven appearances for the Championship side this season.

Twente boss Alfred Schreuder told the clubs official site, “Its nice that we can add Chris to the selection. We know him well.
In consultation with both clubs, he decided that it was better for his development that he finishes the season at FC Twente.”

Twente also confirmed that there is an option in the deal which allows them to purchase David at the end of the season.

Well there's no point in him lingering around in the U21s, he wasn't going to play for the first team so this move makes sense. Ideally he'd play brilliantly there and come back to us a better player but realistically all we can hope for is that he earns himself a permanent deal and make us a bit of money. It's a shame though, he looked good in the games he played, first half vs Cardiff comes to mind.

    From the club's Twitter feed:

@FulhamFC: Kit on Chris David: "His move to Twente isn't confirmed yet but we expect it to happen. It would be a permanent deal."

Shame, but if players don't have a future at the club then it's best for all concerned that they move on.

Had great hopes for Cris when he arrived, but having watched him many times in matches and training sessions
I thought he suffered with the Trotta syndrome , petulant and lazy, in training sessions he would always be the first
to break off, for all concerned a move may be the solution
