I certainly wouldn't mind him coming here if we had the chance to sign him! He is a very good player at this level and has always played very well every time I have seen him! Definitely worth a punt imo and he meets our present criteria of bringing in freebies. What do you guys reckon? Birmingham have also released Zigic but he would be a definite NO!
I would be quite pleased if he were to join. That said, I imagine there will be a couple of other clubs in for him and everything Mick has says so far smacks of waiting until August so we don't pay anyone's wages whilst they are on holiday, so wouldn't be surprised if we were pipped on this one.. some would call it shrewd, others bloody minded but we wait and see what happens but worth pursuing him in my opinion
There are lots of decent players being released this Summer so I just hope that Mick knows who his targets are and Dumb & Dumber had better pull their bloody fingers out and sign them quick!
There is something on TWTD forum which suggests we and Florist have offered him a contract with a link, don't know how realible the source is but would be a good addition.
Agree would be a very good signing for us, I feel there may be bigger/wealthier vlubs after him though
