I see the great man Chopper Harris has given a big seal of approval over the achievements of Rafa, who says he has achieved an incredible amount considering the malice he has been shown by a section of Blues! I for one have to go along with him and say that although I had my doubts in the beginning--if he wins against Everton I'm almost inclined to say it would be a toss up between him and Jose for the vacancy!
I am a huge fan of Jose and I want him back here.....but I think Rafa deserves more thanks for what he's done than he has recieved!
Some Chelsea fans are turning down a great manager because of their bitter refusal to accept Rafa speaking the truth in the past (plastic flags are terrible, get over it).
if jose 'IS' coming back, then great, there is no one else we would rather have, even if it will be short term. But if we do not get jose? i would play it safe with rafa for sure
I have been one of Rafas staunchest critics, but what has swayed me is the players apparent rapport and praise of him as a person. I will be more than happy to see a good reception for him in his final game, and like BM2, if Jose fails to arrive, then Rafa, would be acceptable for another year, especially if we get a good tactician in as his assistant.
**** that, how can people be swayed by a trophy? It was a great win and fair play to the bloke but no way do I want him here any longer. It's not just his plastic flag comments, I have just never been able to stand the guy.
