100% transfer tax has scuppered the increase in foreign players, particularly from Europe. But while the Chinese clubs seek out loopholes, i feel this is an opportunity to close down the greed in our own Premier League. I think we should do it slightly differently and let the 100% windfall from the transfer tax be ploughed straight into the NHS. Maybe then it would make their greed more bearable if we knew it was rebuilding something for the people of this Country. It will never happen, but i can but dream.
The only way the premier league will change is if somebody likes Abromovich gets bored at Chelsea puts everybody on the transfer market, Chelsea tumble down the divisions eventually going into administration, this will also never happen. Would be nice to Man Citys' backers do a runner, can not for the life of me think why i would like seeing that???
