China today agreed to use Leeds as there base for next years olympic games. A chineese state spokesman said they looked at a number of cities around the county but felt that Leeds would make them feel most at home. They were very impressed with the local (LU)TV and (YORKSHIRE) Radio stations that were very similar to there own state run media which only give out the views of the chaiman. The ability of the chairman to press on with his on 5 year plan regardless silencing all who object was also a factor in the final decission. A spokesman declined to comment on the rummers that they had offered some advisers to help supress a planned demonstration this saturday stating that they were tied up in Zimbabwe
