I can't say I expected much from this, and I'm not sure how anyone else could have. Liverpool have the third best home record in the league. Won 11 and only lost twice. Their record is better than Arsenal and Man City, and I certainly wouldn't go to either of their stadiums expecting much. Their away record lets them down, but as far as home goes, they're rock solid. And with a strikeforce like ours, getting anything would have been a miracle. Ameobi and Lovenkrands ****ing suck. Hard. Possibly the worst striker partnership I've ever witnessed in any team. It doesn't help that players like Willo have joined the list of dire crap today, but hey ho. Let's focus on the games we can win. Like the one next week.
Agree we were never gonna get owt from today. Our strikeforce has to be the worst in the Premier League.
It's not the result. I predicted 3-0 so i'm not surprised at that. But I at least thought we would give 100% and make them have to play well to win it. The lack of effort is what pisses me off!
Would of liked Loven & Ameobi to play like Newcastle strikers not Liverpool defenders, would of expected that AT LEAST. Barton's set pieces were pathetic as well. Awful performance absolutely pathetic. Simpson should never attempt to cross the ball ever again. Only bright point was Jonas.
I cant tolerate lack of passion, lack of fight and lack of character. I appreciate we lack quality right through the team but I at least expect some pride. I dont understand people who just expect defeat, this was the latest in a string of noshows by a Newcastle team at Anfield, are we intimidated by the place or something? We may as well not bother turning up next season on this basis. Today just helped highlight our deficiencies as a squad again, which will no doubt be papered over in the summer. On a side note, well done to the toon army who travelled, you represented us well and out sung a terrible scouse home crowd
Liverpool were not that good. I deflected miskick got them going. After that we were better than them apart from the dive for a pen. And the shambles for their 3rd. Our final ball and the front two were ****e of course. There right back should have been off in the first half as he should have got a yellow for the shirt pull. Tiote got booked after the ref had decided it was not a foul and we had the ball. It wasn't a foul either. We put the ball out and then he decided to book Tiote. Unless it was something he said. But the Ref. indicated that's 3 times. The Ref. was a scouser all day.
Yes Liverpool nothing special didn't need to be we are woeful no direction, crap manager and despicable owner at least it is sunny the season ends soon and we are not relegated we will be bottom 8 again tho next season with very little or no proper investment as usual.
You know, I was reading this thread on my phone, and I had the screen zoomed in so I could see the posts, but I couldn't see the usernames. When I read your post I actually said to myself 'I bet this is from that Tonton guy'. I scrolled to the left, and low and behold... I swear you must have a bowl full of balls with the following phrases on each one, like: The team is **** **** manager Ashley is **** and greedy We won't get any money We'll finish at the bottom Etc Then when you go to say something, you swirl around all the balls, pick two or three out at random and then type them out to form your post.
