Done deal!! - don't you love it when a plan comes together.....<laugh>

Not going home tomorrow now - got my last minute deal agreed this afternoon. Packing up in the morning and heading down from deepest Buckinghamshire to lovely Brockenhurst in the New Forest.

..........and the bonus is? No one booked in there the following week so agreed with the owner we don't have to leave there until week Monday - that's 10 days for the same discounted weekly let - it don't get any better...:1980_boogie_down:

Like I said in the OP, the only real downside is I'll miss the Middlesbrough game, but I'll just have to live with that..........<whistle>

Good news Sparks. Hope the weather holds for you.

Thunderstorms here first thing this morning. Dogs not happy.
Quite a bit of heavy rain through the day. Forecast to rain off and on all week.

Had our T&L during the night remote, but the dogs didn't seem to mind - they're used to me farting in bed.......<laugh>

Bad morning but good afternoon today. So good we drove about 10 miles south this afters towards Christchurch to hit the coast. Walked along the Friars Cliff/Steamer Point/Highcliffe coastal path. Breezy but sunny.

Then back to our bolthole in the Forest in time for the odd Grolsch on the deck (I couldn't find any cheap Peroni in Tescos <laugh>)

Rest of the week forecast to be changeable - but WTF. <ok>

Just committed fraud in Tescos. I was sat in the car (black X5 4.0M Sport <whistle>) looking after the dogs whilst the wife and her sister had gone into Tescos down here. She phoned me to say they had bottles of Stella in boxes of 12 for 7 quid. Now I know you can generally buy cans more cheaply, but there's something different about a beer from a glass bottle. I said fair enough, get 2 boxes for now - that'll do me until tomorrow <laugh>.

Out they came with a trolley filled with other goodies and in the bottom were the two boxes of Stella. I put the rest of the stuff in the back of the car and finally went to load up the Stellas. The wife had put in a box of 12, but underneath that was a box of 20 that her sister had picked up - the checkout lady had just zapped the top box twice.

Now back in the cottage, I have a dilemma and my conscience is playing up - what should I do?

As a Tesco shareholder I demand that you pay up! It's no wonder my shares aren't doing very well.
