How do you lads take the chill pill? Complicated for me as I never switch off, so much complexity with a severely disabled partner that things sort of change in a matter of minutes, add to that an active nearly 8 year old daughter and my life's door is firmly shut.. Still worth it though after 8 years, giving up a great life as a professional photographer but knowing I'm 3 times the person I was in 2008 is my reward.. My chill time? A bit of Bad Company, mixed with a bit of the Small Faces and a touch of Bob Dylan with the rest of the years in between, a few beers and a sigh of relief suffices my ****ed up head and body.. Over to you comrades..
Got 3 daughters so they have taken up quite a bit of my leisure time for many years now... still enjoy reading so the Kindle has been a great innovation in my life ... I find that reading in bed just before sleeping helps to supress the demons be they work, money or any other type of stress.
Reggae and Weed are probably my 2 favourite things. Then football. Kids 4th. Mrs about 10th. So yeah weed and reggae usually hits the spot. Fair play to you though Joe. Respect
You care, you love, you acknowledge, you love, you sink, you love, whatever happens, you love, it's in you to do so..
Just kidding. TV is my thing, I love films and TV shows, there's music as well too varied to list though. I do like a bottle of red though and combining a film and a bottle is superb.
I like getting high and all>>>>>>>>must be a welsh thing .........mushroom season down here guys free highs for all
Sounds like standing still in the same spot for *period, really got them mushrooms going for you mate.. Make sure to peel the top layer off, after that the worlds all yours..
I relax in various ways, immersing myself in a book or a film, having a glass of something nice. But my favourite way of chilling is just sitting outside in the garden, in the Spring / summer just sat in silence listening to the birds tweeting and watching the World go by......
Loadsa problems...that 'me' time is necessery in order to get through them..money problems, bitch problems, my own demons...just life, keeping your head above water etc. I like to have my head into a good box set, a game of football, some music maybe and a zoot...that floaty time allows me to rationalise my life and tackle what needs tackling. Sometimes I'll take a drive, park up in some countryside setting and spark up...and stare into the sky...feels great. Being in touch with nature is really calming. Little things like what Tobes said, sitting in your garden listening to life...ohh with a zoot Rinse...repeat depending on where I am mood wise
Have a great day my friend, it certainly is taking it's toll, she's 37, sad to see but I believe in miracles..
