It's more of a **** having to come back to work after having a pint at lunch

 

We're not allowed to drink during working hours now, due to company policy, and that IS a ****.

 

I've only got to stay here until Monday due to a bed bust. But because I'm contracted to do two and two I get a week at home on full offshore pay. Can't wait I'll only have worked 3 weeks out of 11 by the next time I have to come back out here. Means I can watch every WC game apart from the final because of TitP


Oh aye and Chile were fantastic today, most ambitious team I've seen so far and the only games I've missed are SK/Greece Slovenia/Algeria and Japan/Cameroon

True, one of the guys on the beach questioned how much work I do by sending an e-mail to my supervisors out here. Both of them phoned him back and gave him **** about it, saying I'm doing a birlliant job and it's just the nature of the platform that I'm not busy all the the time. I'm a spawny ****.

it's refreshing Chile attacking as much and being so adventurous. Teams are too afraid to lose, but half of them will still be going home in a week and a half. I hope they go far and I can't see them changing tactics. Germany are the only others who seem to have wanted goals. Spain even went with 5 midfielders
