Drives me mad too kim. The parents seem to think you actually give 2 tosses about little Archie's feeding pattern, sleeping habbits and nappy changing times. They also all believe they're the best parents on the planet - a notion which will be rudely quashed when their little darlings become heroin addicted thieves and sell their bodies to the chairman of the local rotary club to pay for their next fix. They don't like it when you tell them that........

I'm a fully grown man and I have no idea what a Rotary club is. It is just one of those things I hear all the time but never bothered to ask.

In my imagination it is a big stick used for smashing wheels.

In the part of my brain that isn't childish I suspect it is about middle class people being altruistic.... I don't know why I think that.

A rotary club in Glasgow is where we sell all the blagged watches on to their greatful new owners Rebel so there is at least some degree of altruism involved.

I can confirm this is nonsense. Children have no place in the office. If you brought a child to work and you worked in a coal mine there would be an outrage why should my work be any less civilised than that?

were you not proud when your little ones were born?

anyway, every bloke knows that women love men who look after their kids. a bloke walking around with a new born baby is bound to get chatted up by every woman he comes across.

True. For want of a better word, I'd hope there was at least a gentlemen's agreement in place.
