Just come up on SSN that our chief scout Ian Blackwell who has been in the job 3 yrs is to leave, doesn't say how or why, but I would assume Harry may have got him in, but even thats speculation. Anyone got any details?

His name is Ian Broomfield actually, and yes he was very much a Harry appointment. I did say on here a couple of months ago there was the beginnings of a big review of the scouting set up at the club and that is still continuing.

I thought Broomfield was at the club pre 'Arry? Anyway, hope you're not in the firing line, we still need another 'keeper or two for next season <yikes>

Good ol Sky! <laugh> I know you've told me SC, but I had to report it as they have.

Ironically, on FM12 he's the only one of our scouts worth keeping on...

I always trusted his judgement on FM2012 and he rarely was wrong.

Broomfield was an 'Arry appointment so I presume that has something to do with his departure.

He was really good on FM12 though as others have said. The other is/ was Mick Brown I think... Never really used him much nor did I take note of his scouting reports!

And so Spurcats' (oops - I mean Tim Sherwood) ruthless rise to power continues. :)
